This site uses one thing that stores anything on your device: analytics, which counts which pages get read so the site can be improved. There is nothing here for advertising and nothing that follows you to other sites.
You can switch it off on the cookie settings page, in one click, and it takes effect immediately.
What is set, and what is not
Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and one beginning _ga_, which let it tell one visit from another so the counts mean something. They hold a random number, not your name, and they expire after two years or the moment you switch analytics off, whichever comes first.
Nothing else is set. The site is static files with no login, no basket and no session to remember, so there is nothing else that needs storing on your device between pages.
The interactive parts, the scorecards and the forms, hold their state in the page while you are on it and forget it the moment you leave. The scorecard does not save your answers anywhere, which is also why refreshing loses them.
Analytics, and why there is no banner
Google Analytics is used for one purpose: counting which pages are read, from roughly where, on what kind of device, so the site can be improved. The data is not shared with Google for its own purposes, is not linked to any advertising account, and is deleted after two months.
Since February 2026, UK law has allowed analytics of this kind without asking first, provided it is used only to improve the site, shared with nobody else, explained plainly, and switchable off simply and for free. That is why there is no banner and a settings page instead. Anything used for advertising would still have to ask you first, and if that ever appears here, it will.
There is no tag manager, no heatmap, no session recording and no advertising pixel.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and availability, which is a different thing from analytics and does not involve anything being stored on your device.
Third-party embeds
There are none at the moment. No embedded video, no maps, no chat widget, and no booking calendar yet.
The form handler this section used to list as planned is now live, and it changed nothing here: it runs on this website rather than somewhere else, and it sets no cookies.
Two things are still planned and both would change this page: website analytics, and a booking calendar on the contact page. Each would be named here, with what it sets and why, and analytics would not run until you had been asked and said yes.
Fonts and images
The typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font service, so no request goes to a third party when a page loads. Everything a page needs comes from the same place the page did.
Managing it anyway
There is nothing here to manage, but every browser lets you block and clear cookies for any site, usually under Settings then Privacy. Doing it here will change nothing about how this site behaves.
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy.
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
